Adam is a second year PhD student in the Gerwick laboratory. He obtained a BS in biology at Providence College in Providence, RI in 2002, and a MS in marine biology at UNC Wilmington in 2004, working with Prof. Joseph Pawlik in marine chemical ecology. Adam is currently studying regulatory gene sequences in cyanobacteria, and is also involved in isolating novel compounds from cyanobacteria and algae. When not in the lab, Adam is an avid scuba diver and ultimate frisbee player. | |
